Pradines. A glorious weekend of badminton

Good results from the weekend, at the Vigan gymnasium during the Badminton Bouriane Club tournament.

Saturday: single and mixed day. In series 1, Louan Dajean won ahead of his club partner Valentin Rothan. Nice semi-final place for Jonathan Vivenot despite a foot injury. In mixed series 1, third place for the “unpublished” pair Anaïs Garcia / Sylvain Thouron against much better ranked pairs. In series 2, place of finalist for Pierre Larguille. In women, silver medal for Lucile Reynes and third place for Sabine Cousi. In Mixed series 3, a great victory for the pair Marine Dumens/Valentin Vailles who won in 2 sets.

There are 21 players from the Pradines club in this tournament, which has a total of 137 participants. Note the fine performance of Léo Préchac at the Villeneuve-Tolosane tournament. He reached the semi-finals in mixed series 1, associated with a TUCB player, Adeline Morena.

The days follow each other and look alike on this Sunday of “doubles”. In Series 1 DH, Louan and Baptiste Dajean won without missing a single set. They dismiss their training partners Sylvain Thouron/Yann Schoener in the semi-final. In DD series 1, good second place for Anaïs Garcia and her partner of the day Christelle Gabriel

In Series 2 DH, the pair Ye Feng/Jonathan Vivenot made it to the final, while the pair Valentin Vailles/Cédric Bes (Zem’bad Le Montat) made it to the semi-finals.

On the Villeneuve-Tolosane side, Léo Préchac ends his career in the semi-final series 1 in DH.

3 young people from the club will go to Argelès this weekend to compete in stage 2 of the Regional Youth Circuit. They are Timéo Maruaé, Lison Dajean and Lucile Reynes.
