The NFL announced Wednesday the identities of the players who will take part in the Pro Bowl game next February and the Indianapolis Colts are leading the charge with seven of their members among the stars.
Indiana representatives will be able to count on running back Jonathan Taylor, defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, center Ryan Kelly, linebacker Darius Leonard, cornerback Kenny Moore II, guard Quenton Nelson and long discounts Luke Rhodes.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers follow with six all-star members each. The young Justin Herbert will also represent the Chargers at the quarterback position and has been designated as starting from this formation of the American Association. Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) and Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens) will also evolve in the cover.
Mahomes will be followed in battle by his usual accomplices, receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce. Orlando Brown, Tyrann Mathieu and Chris Jones complete the Kansas City selections.
The Las Vegas Raiders, the host team, will only have two representatives, kicker AJ Cole and defensive end Maxx Crosby.
On the side of the National, the experience will meet the youth, since the quarterbacks Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Kyler Murray will represent their association without surprise. Brady even set a record by being selected for the 15th time in the Pro Bowl.
It will be interesting to see how these combine with Cooper Kupp, who is having a stellar season. The Los Angeles Rams receiver will be making his first appearance in the All-Star Game, leading the NFL in receiving yards, catches and passing touchdowns.
Author of 10 quarterback sacks this season, Kupp’s teammate in defense Aaron Donald will also be part of the training.
The Pro Bowl game will take place on February 7, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium. It will precede Super Bowl LVI by one week.
