RAJNOCH’S GLOSSARY: Vrba received a motivational contract in Sparta, another contract must deserve

Sparta extended the contract with coach Vrba, which was probably expected. Maybe coach Vrba imagined a longer contract, but I would say that it is motivating for him. Under his leadership, the Letna family moved somewhere, came up with a concept. But outages in the form of Pilsen and Slovácko should simply not happen to a team like Sparta.

There are players in his team with huge potential for the future, they will definitely grow. Willow nodded at the offer of an annual extension and it is clear that the next contract will have to deserve good results, Sparta will want to see further progress. It is clear that Slavia is still on, but they are going in some direction at Letná, the number of foreigners has decreased again, there is no such fluctuation of players, the coach has more room to work.

For example, in England the situation is different, the coaches have been with the teams for a long time. Of course, it’s no longer like Sir Alex Ferguson was in Manchester United. He was at Old Trafford for decades, and that era was marked by a series of huge successes. His successors are spinning, maybe if the good results continue, it’s not so striking, but that’s how Ferguson is still remembered.

In connection with Sparta, there is talk of a case of defender Lischka, who withdrew from the club in Baník, and in a few days the player moved again to Ostrava. Even when the player was returning to the capital, there was such an inconspicuous little mouse. It was known that Baník cared about the player, the Leten family pushed the rival in this way and a better financial offer came. But to be in Sparta’s lead, maybe I would keep the player and give him a chance.

As for Slavia, it is still far ahead of the competition. Coach Trpišovský still has something to give the team, it is no wonder that the club wants to keep him. The players change at his hands and he is still successful. The club also works with young boys in the second-league Vlašim so that they can move to Eden in the future, such as Alijagič for the last time. I saw somewhere that he saw a new Vardy in him, we’ll see how he shows up. Young people do not lack self-confidence, sometimes it is necessary to take away, but in his case I see great potential. And if Alijagic is like Vardy for the team, it will be great. He knows how to give goals and in life it is necessary to set big goals, to have a healthy self-confidence.

In the attack, he vacated him instead of Kucht, who managed to sort it all out in his head. After leaving, he admitted that he sometimes called in Slavia and talked, for example, about assistant coach Houštecký. He said you just have to withstand the pressure, otherwise you can’t do it in a club like Slavia and you have to go. I know that this is how coach Jarolím tested the player. He chose a football player and went after him, trying him a lot. As a result, when the player passed, Mr. Jarolim knew that the football player was resilient and could withstand enormous pressure.

Baník Sor is also a lot to deal with. He is a very interesting football player, equipped with speed, but it is also necessary to work with him individually. I’m not surprised that both Sparta and Slavia are in search, which has been talked about more often lately. I have to say that emotionally it fits more into my stitched jersey now. But of course he wouldn’t get lost in Letná either.

I am completely excited after the weekend from Tondy Barák’s hat-trick in the Italian league. Fans must be happy that the next Czech generation is starting to gain a stronger foothold in European leagues. Schick, Souček, Coufal, Jankto are here, Sadílek is doing well, Darid, now Kuchta is headed out. It’s nice that Czech football is rising from worse times and I know that the football management is doing everything to clean the football. But it won’t work right away, it wants to continue its systematic work and I believe that everything is going in the right direction.
