Results of the young badminton doubles at the 2022 Finistère Championships – quimper – badminton

At the Finistère Badminton Youth Championship, Sunday was the place for doubles in the continuity of the singles played last Saturday. The Roses achieved a double triplet in minimette and cadet. Léa Bégat (minimette) and Agathe Burgaud (youngest) won in Double Dame and Double Mixte each their table. We find another Ujapiste hat-trick with Titouan Veillot (minimal) with three lost finals for Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles. Hector Delabarre did a double in Singles and Junior Men’s Doubles where he lost in both disciplines. Léa Bégat was associated with her club friend Erell Gouez. In the final they were hooked by the pair of Quimperlé Marion and Clara Rouaud, but won 21/17; 21/16.

In the Mixed Doubles, Léa Bégat, associated with Maxence Quéré de Trégunc faced Titouan Veillot (Ujap) and Clara Rouaud (Quimperlé). It was in the final that the duo had some difficulties against an opponent who did not give up, and fought with their means. Vigilance was required on both sides, and the meeting could change at any time. Titouan Veillot’s career had been tough on his physique and the duo left the victory to the pair Léa / Maxence (21/16; 21/10). As a youngest Agathe Burgaud associated with Yaëlle Lemarchand of St Renan went for a walk. They won the final 21/15; 21/13 against the penguins Maelys Seilleur / Sakithya Suresh. The Junior Mixed Doubles final, Agathe Burgaud played with Noé Deman from BCL29. Without forcing too much, they won 21/13; 21/16 against the Yaëlle Lemarchand/Nolan Lorinquer pair (Quimperlé).

A very positive assessment for the Roses with for the whole weekend 11 finals including 6 won. These are encouraging results for the juniors and cadets, most of whom were playing in the team championship. Moreover, they will be able to put themselves once again in the spotlight next weekend with the resumption of the regional and departmental championship. Regional 1 will play at home at the Halle des Sports de Penhars from 10 a.m. His opponents of the day will be Lanester and Quimperlé. The R3 will travel to Louannec to play against Ploneour-Lanvern and Lanester.
