After a three-week break, the Risaralda Badminton League returned to training at the Coliseo Menor de Pereira, with its high-performance, master’s and Paralympic sports groups. Starting at 6:30 in the morning on Monday, January 17, the sports entity called on its members to start work with the departmental coach, William Gutiérrez; Likewise, Luis Valencia, master’s coach, received the athletes who had been exercising since 2021.
The first thing that took place during the morning session was a meeting with the members of the high-performance group to socialize the main goals of the new year, among which the participation in national and international events stands out, with a view to the next XXII National Games 2023. It is noteworthy that the Paralympic sports area addressed by both coaches also began training, with the aim of strengthening by 2022.
The League will address the junior processes in the afternoon, in regular training sessions from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. In this way, the organization joins other leagues that just reopen their doors this Monday, as part of the 2022 season.
