Roberto Osuna roster Charros Caribbean Series

This Monday the Mexican Pacific League | sports”>Charros de Jalisco and the Mexican Pacific League, announced the final roster of the Guadalajara team that will represent Mexico, in the Caribbean Series to be held in the coming days in the Dominican Republic.

Among the players, the presence of star pitcher Roberto Osuna stands out, who will have his first appearance in the Caribbean Series, a pitcher who played all of 2021 in Mexico with Red Devils of Mexico, and in the winter with Charros, being a fundamental part of the title with all his Major League experience.

Strengthened Charros for the Caribbean Series

Four days away for Mexico to start participating in the Dominican Republic in search of the 10th championship in Scaribbean series, the roster was reinforced.

There are 32 players selected to be protagonists in the fair, which will have as participants the Dominican Republic (Gigantes del Cibao), Venezuela (to be defined), Puerto Rico (Criollos de Caguas), Caimanes de Barranquilla (Colombia) and Panama (Astronautas de The Saints).

Charros Squad for the Caribbean Series

The Charros roster has 13 members of the coaching staff, 15 pitchers, 9 infielders, 5 outfielders and 3 receivers with 19 members of the champion Charros including reinforcements Esteban Quiroz and Jared Wilson, with 13 reinforcements.

In the pitchers; Manny Barreda, Nick Struck, Samuel Zazueta, David Gutiérrez, Wilmer Ríos, Jake Sánchez, Daniel Duarte, Enrique Burgos and Jared Wilson are added to the Mexican team; while isaac rodriguez, Joey Meneses, Víctor Mendoza come to freshen up the infielders; added to the versatility of José Cardona in the outfield and Alexis Wilson in catcher.

When does Mexico begin its participation in the Caribbean Series?

Mexico will make its debut on Friday, January 28 after the opening ceremony against the host Dominican Republic, then Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Panama will be measured at the end of the first phase.

Mexico will have practice sessions this Tuesday and Wednesday at the field of Pan American Stadium de los Charros, while they will take the flight to the Dominican Republic on Thursday in an exclusive charter from the Guadalajara delegation.
