A few minutes ago the news of a meeting between the president of FIPAV, Giuseppe Manfredi, and the Councilor for Sport of the Municipality of Rome Alessandro Onorato, held in the federal headquarters in via Vitorchiano.
The main object of the meeting is to be referred to the possible candidacy of Roma to host the inaugural game of the European Volleyball Men, which will take place in 2023.
As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the Honorable Councilor, also on behalf of the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, delivered a letter to FIPAV containing the full support of the administration to bring the tournament back to the capital.

The competition, in fact, does not take place in Italian territory from the now very distant 2005; therefore the ok arrived bureaucratic, everything seems ready for the official candidacy of Rome as the venue for the inaugural match of the European Volleyball Men 2023.
