San Lorenzo beat San Martín de Corrientes 81-79 in what was their first home game in this eventful 2022, which started with 22 cases of COVID-19 that resulted in two games lost due to a controversial decision by the Club Association . After overcoming the Coronavirus, the team lost to Unión in Santa Fe and today they were able to recover nothing more and nothing less than against Quimsa’s shooting guard in the National League standings.
Forced from Boedo ????????????????#SanLorenzo lost by 1 and Lucas Pérez risked it in the last shot: triple and victory of #SanLorenzo about @CSM_Currents por 81 a 79.

In the first quarter the scoring was distributed and abundant, neither of them was able to take great advantage until the end of the partial, when it seemed that the visitor was taking off. In the final minutes, Lucas Pérez scored seven consecutive points to match the actions. The second quarter was a faithful continuation of the first and the result at halftime was a very tight 46-47 in favor of the team from Corrientes.
Boedo started the third on fire with a 13-2 burst to take a wide lead. With an erratic visitor and a San Lorenzo on fire, the difference stretched to ten points at the end of the quarter (67-57). Although at the beginning of the last quarter those led by Diego Vadell cut the distance on the scoreboard, it was only in the last minutes of the match that they were able to get within range. In a closing for the heart attack, and thanks to a great triple by Lucas Pérez, the Cyclone stayed with the victory.
