[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group Seventeen member Seungkwan was selected in the ‘Entertainment Idol (Male)’ category, which is expected in 2022.
On the 13th, SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan won the ‘Entertainment Idol (Male)’ category that will lead the year 2022 at the ‘2022 Korea First Brand Awards’, which was broadcast live online through the Korea Consumer Forum’s YouTube channel.
In addition, the cable channel tvN ‘Racquet Boys’ in which Seungkwan appeared as an entertainment program that is expected to be more anticipated next year was honored with the award in the ‘Sports Entertainment Program’ category.
Seungkwan said, “I was nominated for this category two years ago, and I am so honored to receive this award this year. This year too, I plan to work hard in entertainment activities and as a singer as Seventeen, so please show a lot of interest and love.”
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the ‘2022 Korea First Brand Grand Prize’ is an event that selects and awards promising brands that will lead the year through a nationwide consumer survey every year.
Seungkwan showed off his versatile charm not only as a singer but also through entertainment. In 2018, he won the Male Newcomer Award in the Music Talk Show category at the MBC Entertainment Awards, and received a passing score as a next-generation entertainment idol.
In the recently ended ‘Racquet Boys’, he was recognized for his excellent badminton skills and showed off his ace-like side without any regrets, playing an active role in the victory. /[email protected]
