Tom Brady has yet to make a decision about whether to continue his career after the playoffs.
At least that’s what the ESPN network said on Sunday morning, citing sources close to the NFL Players Of 2021″>Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the quarterback himself. The 44-year-old, holder of seven Super Bowl rings, will take at least a month to think about his future after the playoffs.
Brady, who was named three-time NFL Most Valuable Player, has one more season left on his current contract with the Florida squad. Currently, Blaine Gabbert and Kyle Trask, selected in the second round of the 2022 draft, are the other pivots for the Bucs.
Despite being 44 years old, Brady shone in 2021. He allowed his team to gain 5,316 passing yards, a total he had never reached before. He completed 67.45% of his passes for 43 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
The future Hall of Famer will have the opportunity to add to his legend over the next few weeks, starting with the duel against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
