COCLÉ LOSES TO WEST
The ninth team from Panamá Oeste was respected at home, beating Coclé 8-5 at the Remón Cantera stadium in Aguadulce on the day of the 2022 Youth Baseball National Championship, dedicated to the memory of Marlon Mesa.
Juan Reyes was the winning pitcher throwing 5.1 innings of two touchdowns and 11 strikeouts. Efraín Cubilla charged with defeat.
At bat they stood out for the ‘Cowboys’: Yeremi Sánchez 5-3, Alfredo Alderete 3-2 and Diego Sanjur 2-1.
And for the coclenos: Joaquín 4-2, Juan Rosas 4-2, Abel De León 5-2 and Jean Franco Sánchez 2-1 and Rodrigo Buitrago 1-1.
