The state selection of badminton will be held this January 22 and 23 at the Club Toluca facilities, in which Mexican athletes from different municipalities will seek a ticket to join the delegation of the State of Mexico that will take part of the National System of Competitions, heading to the second National Games Conade 2022.
At the start of the 2022 competitions, the Badminton Association of the State of Mexico and the Directorate of Physical Culture and Sports launched the call to participate in this first selective event that will start on Saturday at 9:00 am and will conclude on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
Said call establishes that the categories of participation will be under 15, under 17 and under 19, in the men’s and women’s branches, individual modality. The scoring format will be to win 2 of 3 sets to 21 points in all categories of competition.
The association stated that the competition system is mixed and roud robin, with the qualification criterion that the players with the highest accumulated score will integrate the representative team of the State of Mexico.
The winners will obtain the right to participate in the national qualifying events for the 2022 National Competition System, in accordance with the technical annexes and regulations that CONADE and the Mexican Badminton Federation establish hereinafter.
