Steam Deck, the well-known hybrid platform halfway between a portable console and a PC made by Valve, is approaching the long-awaited release date.
The new platform similar (but not too much) to Nintendo Switch in fact, it will not suffer further delays on the schedule, as many feared.
Valve has indeed guaranteed that they have continued to work on the new console and that they should be able to confirm the delivery date without any hitch.
The release was in fact scheduled for the end of last year, but due to material shortages the company was forced to make the difficult decision to postpone it. Meanwhile, they have finally been made official the first verified games which will run on the Steam Deck.
As reported by Wccftech, the first games verified on Steam Deck include some very popular titles, such as Portal 2, Dark Souls III, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Death Stranding and many others.
The list was shared by SteamDB, who confirmed that a total of 38 Steam games are now officially considered also “Steam Deck Verified“.
Another 24 games are listed as playable and 5 as unsupported, including four VR titles and Persona 4 Golden. Find the full list below.
