In Sydney, the Franco-American concluded a point in a spectacular way against the Briton Dan Evans.

The season is only two weeks old and we have already seen one of the hits of the year. Engaged this week at the ATP tournament in Sydney, the Franco-American concluded an exchange with a winning passing in “tweener” mode against the Briton Dan Evans. The full exchange was a beauty, with the two players hitting first from the back of the court, before the Briton managed to lob the Franco-American giant (198cm), who came up to the net on a forehand attack .

The sequel is reminiscent of the superb point scored by Roger Federer in the semi-final of the 2009 US Open against Novak Djokovic. Helped by his large size, Cressy was able to give power in his stroke, achieving a superb winning “tweener” from the baseline. Unfortunately for him, his journey came to a halt in the quarter-finals against Dan Evans, who won 6-4 7-6 in the end.
