The popular ones have been calling for Garzón’s resignation for days, after he accused on December 26 in The Guardian the Spanish livestock sector for producing “poor quality” meat from animals “tortured” on “polluting” farms.

“The National Association of Breeders of Marismeño Cattle brings together more than 700 people who, with their activity, guarantee balance in a unique ecosystem such as Doñana. Garzón’s statements are a frontal attack on the entire primary sector“, declared the popular general secretary through his Twitter account.

It is known to all that Teodoro Garcia Egea, general secretary of the Popular Party, is a great sports fan. Lover of judo, mountain bike expeditions, running, cross-country skiing, swimming… But what he has shown us this Friday is that he also knows how to ride a horse.

European funds “by finger”

Teodoro García Egea spoke to the media during his visit to Almonte, and defended the offensive launched by the autonomous communities governed by the Popular Party -with Madrid at the head- “so that the Government stops using the funds Europeans as if they were the funds of the Socialist Party”.

The autonomous executives of Galicia, Castilla y León, Murcia and Andalusia, all of them popular, have notified the Government of Pedro Sánchez that they are studying taking the distribution “by finger” of European funds to court, thus following the path marked by the Community of Madrid, which has already filed an appeal with the Supreme Court.

The number two of the PP has indicated that “we cannot allow that some funds that come from Europe to promote employment and increase the growth of the Spanish economy are used to pay favors of the Socialist Party”.
