The future of the 2022 baseball season rests with the meeting being held today between Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. Both Commissioner Rob Manfred and Players Association, Tony Clark have their work cut out for them as they both have quite a divide in what they each want for their constituencies. Manfred representing the baseball owners and Clark representing the players.
This meeting today will be held in person in New York City, not over Zoom like the previous encounter. The temperatures in NYC today will be below freezing and we hope that the meeting between both these parties would be much warmer than the outside temperature so that we may move closer to Spring Training and opening day 2022.
