The badminton sub-team competition closes registration today, Guoyu may give up the competition, and the newcomers will lose the opportunity to train.
On January 18, Beijing time, the deadline for registration for the badminton sub-team competition, currently only 6 countries including Indonesia, Japan and South Korea are participating. Guoyu has not registered yet, and is likely to give up the opportunity to participate.
The epidemic prevention requirements of the badminton sub-team competition are still relatively strict. It is stipulated that 2 vaccines must be vaccinated, and the vaccine must be vaccinated 14 days in advance. However, in view of the repeated epidemics in foreign countries, Guoyu is likely not to go to the competition.
Guo Yu has always paid less attention to the badminton sub-team competition, and Guo Yu only won the third place in the last sub-team competition. Guoyu mainly regarded this event as an opportunity for young players to train their troops. Originally, it was a good opportunity to train new players. Young players in our country have had too few opportunities to participate in foreign competitions in the past two years, resulting in new players not being able to catch up, and veteran players getting older. In another two years, if there is no chance to compete after 00-02, it is likely to be scrapped. In the Paris Olympics three years later, we can only rely on the current group of veterans to hit the gold medal.
If Guoyu signs up at the last minute, it is expected that the following lineup will be sent to the competition:
Men’s Singles: Lei Lanxi, Weng Hongyang, Gu Junfeng
Men’s Doubles: Di Zijian/Wang Chang, Liu Yuchen/Liang Weikeng
Women’s Singles: Tan Ning, Dai Wang, Han Qianxi
Women’s Doubles: Li Yijing/Luo Xumin, Lin Fangling/Chen Fanghui
