The calendar for Italia Baseball in 2022 has been made known, between European and world commitments for the youth national teams that will be engaged in the course of next summer.
It will be a very busy summer for Italy Baseball U18. It starts with the U18 European Championship at the start in the Czech Republic and scheduled from 14 to 21 August. The manager’s blues Francesco Aluffi have been included in group B and will face Germany, the Czech Republic, Israel, Ireland and the winner of the group Trnava (which includes Belgium, Ukraine, Slovakia, Croatia, Belarus and Romania). The reigning champions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands were included in group A together with Spain, France, Austria, Lithuania and the winner of the other qualifying round scheduled in Sweden. Subsequently, from 9 to 18 September a Sarasota e Bradenton (United States), the Azzurri will return to take part in the U18 World Championship (the last participation was in 2017) which took place thanks to the silver medal obtained at the 2021 European Championship played in Macerata and Montegranaro. Europe will also be represented by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, while the rest of the qualifiers include American Samoa, Brazil, Canada, Taiwan (reigning champion), Japan, South Korea, USA, Panama and Mexico. There is only one nation missing from the African continent.

While there will be no international events for the U15 category, theItaly U12 from Stefano Burato, four times in a row reigning European champion, will once again give the title up for grabs this time a Vienna (Austria), with the European Championship from Baseball U12 which, from 5 al 10th of July 2022, and then will be on stage in the World U12, scheduled for July 29 to August 7 in Taiwan.
