The auditorium of the Science Park of Granada will be the scene this Monday, January 31, starting at 1:00 p.m., of the draw for the Copa del Rey pairings that will host the city of Granada from February 17 to 20.
Real Madrid, Barça, Valencia Basket and Joventut, the top four classified after the first round, will be seeded in the draw, facing the other four classified teams in the quarterfinals: BAXI Manresa, UCAM Murcia, Río Breogán and Lenovo Tenerife.
The Canarian team, despite their defeat against Valencia, was this Sunday the last to seal their presence at the Palacio de los Deportes in Granada. Meanwhile, on Friday Valencia Basket and Río Breogán got their tickets, in a complicated calendar due to the many suspensions that the coronavirus left.
In addition, the event will also include the draw for the Endesa Mini Cup with Barça, Real Madrid, Joventut Badalona and Unicaja Andalucía as top seeds and with Cajasiete Canarias, Valencia Basket, Coosur Real Betis and Catalana Occident Manresa completing the eight participants, who They will be divided into two groups of four, with two seeds in each.
The event will feature the participation of Francisco Cuenca, Mayor of Granada; José María Arrabal, general secretary for sport in the Junta de Andalucía, and Antonio Martín, president of the ACB. Likewise, an institutional representative of each qualified club will attend.
