The end of the conspiracy, boxer Tyson Fury knows another opponent. They will share an astronomical 900 million!

The undefeated British boxer and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has finally agreed on the opponent and the conditions for the upcoming match, so he will certainly have a big stone from his heart. These negotiations were accompanied by great vicissitudes, and it was not clear for a long time who would be the enemy of the fighter nicknamed “Gipsy King” and which promoter would take this fight under his wing.

It was some promoters who made the whole situation one big mess, and another boxer Anthony Joshua (AJ) also played a role in that. Although he was originally supposed to fight with Fury, last year in October he lost the belts of the other three main organizations (WBA, IBF, WBO) when he succumbed to points to Oleksandr Usyk and therefore committed to the Ukrainian conqueror to retaliate. But that didn’t have to happen in the end.

According to the daily The Sun, AJ was offered to withdraw from the match with Usyk for about 440 million crowns, which would mean that the Ukrainian would compete in a huge match for the unification of heavyweight titles with Fury. Moreover, this proposal did not end there, because at that moment Joshua would also have arranged to face the winner, which would put it bluntly. “He licked almost all the cream.” And he naturally liked this proposal.

However, another British boxer and owner of the temporary WBC championship belt, Dilian Whyte, put a stop to everything, who lost only two matches during his career and managed to win in the next twenty-eight (of which nineteen times with the help of KO).

He began to point out the rules, which quite clearly state that he should be Fury’s next opponent, and so he made quite clear and fair claims for this match, which the WBC organization nodded to him after some speculation. At that time, it was enough to agree with the promoter who will give the highest bid.

The selection lasted over three months, and in the end Frank Warren became the promoter this week, offering the largest amount ever for a match for a boxing match – reaching almost astronomical 900 million crowns. Of this amount, Fury should receive about 650 million and Whyte 91 (the winner will receive an additional 10% of the total amount).

The fight for the WBC heavyweight title seems to have been definitively agreed, and all that remains is to determine where and when it will take place. Most likely, it should take place no later than the beginning of the summer holidays in British territory. The official announcement should take place in the coming days.
