The Final Eight is an ‘impossible’ mission – Sports – Other Sports

Mission (almost) impossible. The super victory with Trieste keeps alive the hopes of Unahotels, third consecutive victory in the Fiba Europe Cup”>Reggiana Basketball to qualify for the Final Eight of the Italian Cup, in Pesaro from 16 to 20 February, which will be accessed by the first eight at the end of the first round. Destiny is no longer in the hands of the red and white who must hope for a series of favorable results in recoveries to reach the finish line. Unahotels will have to cheer on the three teams that will play away, namely Naples (tomorrow at 20 will take the field in Brinidisi), Pesaro (Thursday at 20.30 will visit Amedeo Della Valle’s Germani Brescia) and then Trieste who will play in Treviso. For this challenge, the recovery date has not yet been set, which in any case will have to be shortly. Should Unahotels have all the results in favor, they would qualify as seventh and would therefore challenge Virtus Bologna in the first round. It costs nothing to hope even if the chances of all three away teams making the coup are really slim. Being in the race is already a great achievement.
