The future of Bérubé GM from Trois-Pistoles in the Puribec Senior Baseball League is in jeopardy.
In a letter addressed to the baseball community, Patrice St-Jean, president of the pistoloise team, does not go with the back of the spoon to express his frustration, he who deplores a “toxic atmosphere” in relations with the circuit leaders. He targets Denis Bérubé, president of the league, as the main source of the problem. He even accuses him of personal revenge against Bérubé GM, in particular because of the events that occurred during the last playoffs.
Patrice St-Jean confirms that all the members of the board of directors of his team, like the Escaladeurs de La Pocatière, have made the decision to submit their resignations en bloc. At the same time, it offers all those interested in taking over to come forward. However, he adds that several impact players have already expressed their intention to withdraw.
Patrice St-Jean completes his letter by mentioning that the team is currently consulting a law firm in order to assess the possibility of monetary recourse against the President and the Puribec Senior Baseball League for the loss of income in connection with a absence during the last final of the circuit.
