As the market closes, names linked to the near future of the NBA, Miami Heat won”>Utah Jazz begin to emerge. A franchise that needs a hit and that has set itself the main objective of reinforcing its exterior defense.
The Salt Lake City franchise is among the nine teams that have, at a minimum, asked about Jerami Grant at the Detroit front office. However, the lack of assets available attractions would push the Jazz to pursue more realistic goals.
As reported by journalist Marc Stein, in Utah they have shown interest in Robert Covington. The Blazers forward is in the last year of his contract and the bad course that the Oregon franchise is following would lead it to make important changes in the near future, either to significantly transform the squad or to at least try to escape of the luxury tax.
Since joining Portland, Covington has averaged 8.2 points in 113 games, his worst mark since his rookie season. Even so, his outside shot and his defensive versatility maintain a high profile in the NBA, being precisely two of the current needs of the Jazz. Another of the organization’s targets, also reported this Monday, could be Terrence Ross.
