Chateauneuf-en-Thymerais. Two new black belts at AST Judo. The AST Judo section resumed its activities, in Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais, in September, in compliance with the health protocol. It experienced a drop in numbers last season with only 51 members. This year, things are going better with 72 graduates following the courses of Stéphane Tardy, a qualified teacher.
The start of the season shows good momentum with the participation of 11 chicks and chicks in a samurai competition and a final result with 4 gold, 2 silver 2 bronze and 3 platinum.
These young people represent the future of the club and the managers make every effort to train them.
Two black belts
At the beginning of December, two young graduates, Hugo Tardy and Baptiste Lesueur obtained the rank of black belt. This success rewards the club’s two licensees for their motivation and seriousness in training sessions
Section president Philippe Mestre and officials have scheduled the section’s annual tournament which will take place on June 19, 2022 in the Martial-Taugourdeau gymnasium. In order to reinforce the conviviality, the club party is planned for the beginning of July.
On February 9, 2022, the club is organizing an internship in Chateauneuf with the participation of the Gallardon club.
