The Lakers would have offered Horton-Tucker, Nunn and a future 1st round for Jerami Grant

The Los Angeles Lakers would have contacted the Detroit Pistons to negotiate a possible transfer for Jerami Grant. According to sources from journalist Marc Stein, the gold and purple franchise would have unsuccessfully offered a package of players made up of Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn, and a future first round of the 2027 Draft.

The Los Angeles team is immersed in numerous transfer rumors given its irregular first half of the year. Coach Frank Vogel would be on the tightrope; The possible trade with the Houston Rockets for John Wall and Russell Westbrook has been discussed; and there is also the delicate situation that Horton-Tucker is experiencing, renewed this past summer, but to which they are offering to try to improve their current squad.

Horton-Tucker, just 21 years old, is averaging 10.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 27.1 minutes per game. For his part, Jerami Grant is reaping figures of 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33.6 minutes.
