The last minute VA changes ahead of Matchday 19

The 19th Bundesliga matchday is just around the corner, and with it our last-minute changes to the Expected Lineups (VA). We would be very happy to receive your comments and assessments! What would you do differently?

FC Bayern Munich: We ask Tolisso in the starting eleven and throw out Tillman, who remained pale in the 1: 2 against Gladbach last week. Tolisso is basically an option again, as Nagelsmann said on Friday. With the rest of the former corona infected, however, it is not enough for the starting eleven.

Borussia Dortmund: At Akanji it seems that he is already a direct candidate for the starting XI. We’re replacing Can with him who didn’t play well last week. Of course, there is a certain risk with this change.

VfL Wolfsburg: With the returnees Lukébakio and Vranckx, it is very difficult to assess their starting XI chances. On the one hand, coach Kohfeldt needs both, on the other hand, they are struggling with a deficit due to a longer compulsory Corona break. We ultimately split and set Roussillon instead of Vranckx because he was not 100 percent fit before his corona infection. However, everything is open here.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Here there is a close duel between Rode and Jakić for second position alongside Sow, who has been training since Tuesday and is expected to start again. Rode started last week because Jakić was still too far behind. He did his job very well, which is why we are now leaning towards him again in the last instance. Jakić in the starting XI would not be a surprise though.

TSG Hoffenheim: With the contract extension behind us, we are counting on a double leadership from Bebou and Rutter. Kramarić moves more behind again, which is where his qualities usually lie. Another starting eleven by Dabbur cannot be ruled out, as well as one by Baumgartner.

Arminia Bielefeld: Will Captain Prietl play straight from the start or is he still too far behind? This is a question we ask ourselves, as does coach Kramer. The risk is still a bit too big for us, which is why we open Hack who played well in the last game after being substituted on.

1. FC Cologne: Baumgart is a fan of sticking to his starting XI on a winning streak. Now it is also clear that Davies will definitely fail at Bayern. So once again we tend to be more offensive Schaub, even if Ljubičić basically suits the opponent better.

Watch out!

  • Borussia Dortmund: There is still a question mark over Guerreiro’s ability to play, even though he was able to take part in the final training session. The days before he was able to train little or not at all. Schulz is his replacement!
  • 1. FC Union Berlin: In attack, Voglsammer is also a good candidate to come in for Behrens. The latter didn’t play his best game recently, but recently became a father. Does this joy now transfer to the field?
