The New York Yankees reportedly signed a right-hander who played for the Boston Red Sox, according to Baseball America. Minor League contract signing continues as Major League work stoppage is resolved.
Yankees sign right-handed pitcher
According to a report by Eli Fishman, a writer for the Minor League Yankees, the Bronx team signed Ryan Weber, a 31-year-old right-hander.
Per @BaseballAmerica transaction tracker, the Yankees signed RHP Ryan Weber to a minor league deal. 31 year old with seven seasons in MLB w/ Atlanta, Seattle, Boston, Tampa, and Milwaukee.

Ryan Weber made his major league debut with the Atlanta Braves in 2015 where he played for two seasons. In 2017 and 2018 he played with the Mariners and the Rays respectively. From 2019 to 2021 he played for the Boston Red Sox, where Milwaukee was later traded and returned to Seattle again last season.
