As a consolidated custom, on the morning of January 22, the Cuban technicians Navarro, Rodriguez and Rosello accompanied by the president of the Oltretorrente baseball and softball group Andrea Paini were received at the headquarters in via Maestri del Lavoro by the owner of the company “Ciemme” srl and president of the club. “Aquila – Longhi” in vicolo Santa Maria di Parma, main sponsor of the Serie A baseball team, commendator Corrado Marvasi.
Also for the 2022 season, the Oltretorrente baseball and softball Group will thus be able to make use of the precious collaboration of Cuban coaches Jorge Navarro, Julio Rodriguez and Henry Rosello Ramirez.
In fact, the three Cuban technicians arrived and returned to our city on 12 January and – after the mandatory quarantine period – are ready to all intents and purposes to lend their important collaboration to all the baseball and softball teams of the Group, of course. as soon as the Covid-19 pandemic will allow us to resume training currently suspended until 6 February.
In detail, in 2022, Navarro will be the manager of the “Taurus Donati Gomme” Old Parma series A1 softball, coach of the pitchers of the Under 18 and Serie B softball teams and technical manager of the baseball school. Rodriguez will be the manager of the Under 18 baseball “B” team and of the new Serie C baseball team, while Rosello will coach some youth and senior teams.
