On the adjoining track they played the men’s individual 1 in which the Valencian Lorenzo Adell faced Miguel Esteve. At the end of the match, Fran Olivares expressed his feelings saying that “I am happy to have been able to score a point for the team together with my teammate Carlos, although in the end we were not able to take the victory against CB Alicante. Even so, we are still leaders of the group and I think the team will learn from this defeat and will recover for the next game”.

The coach of the Valencians, Arturo Hernández, shared his thoughts with us after the match saying that “it was a very tough match, we had chances in most of the matches but for one thing or another it was not possible, added to this Alicante has been very solid and that has made the situation even more difficult for us. The most important thing about a defeat is to capitalize on the experience, learn and work again, more and better in an intelligent way”.
