The Simy affair remains frozen, Diego Costa’s “fault”

Nwankwo Simy‘s transfer to Parma remains frozen.

The Nigerian striker said yes to the Crusaders’ proposal, in the last few hours an economic agreement was found with the player and Salernitana, a loan with obligation to redeem in July 2022 (read here).
According to the rumors of the radio market, the player had his bags ready and at the weekend he was expected in Parma for medical examinations and the signing of the contract, but at the moment the deal remains blocked. The reason? The lack of agreement between the Spanish champion Diego Costa (currently released) and Salernitana, apparently due to problems that arose after medical examinations.
So, while waiting for the Campania club to find an alternative to Diego Costa, originally the number one choice of ds Sabatini, the sale of Simy to Parma remains on standby, precisely by virtue of the “usual” rule that a player enters and one goes out.
The risk is that the Parma-Simy deal could drag on until the last market day, January 31st.
