A double confrontation against Brno in four days this Monday and Thursday, then, on Sunday, a quarter-final of the Coupe de France against Lattes / Montpellier: Bourges will play three cleaver matches this week.
Also, after the postponement last Wednesday of this match in the Czech Republic, the Berruyers leaders studied several avenues for this trip. “We had to find a solution to put the girls in the best possible conditions, especially in terms of recovery, explains the general manager of the TBB, Valentin Cavelier. We chose the solution of a departure from Bourges (finally Châteauroux, due to weather conditions, editor’s note) by privatized plane, which allows us to minimize the time on site in the Czech Republic and to pick up our girls quickly. »
The last time the Berruyer club traveled in these conditions (already leaving from Châteauroux) was in March 2015. There too, the Tangos were preparing for a crucial week with a fine Euroleague quarter-final in Kursk then a Coupe de France match at Villeneuve-d’Ascq.

The Tango therefore took place, around 10:30 p.m. this Sunday evening, aboard a Saab 340, an aircraft with a capacity of about thirty seats, for a direct flight of 2:45 a.m. to Brno. This Monday, as soon as the match is over, they will make the return trip to land in Bourges before 2 am.
“It’s an essential investment for our daughters to be in good conditions,” argues Valentin Cavelier, who made a decision with President Agnès St-Ges that delights the tango staff. “We must thank the club for the effort that has been made in an important week, it is to put us in the best conditions for recovery and comfort,” confirms coach Olivier Lafargue.
