Bazu Azudense qualify for the Cup Tournament that will take place on February 19 and 20
Juper Yunquera andThis past weekend, the ninth day of the Men’s Autonomous First Division, North group, was held, in which there have been three victories for our representative teams that remain tied for the first position in the qualifying table with 15 points.
At the end of the ninth day, Juper Yunquera and Bazu Azudense will be the two classified from the North Group that will play the Men’s 1st Regional Cup Tournament, to be played on the weekend of February 19 and 20.
The parties of our representatives were the following:
Bazu Basketball Azudense, 87-51, CEI Toledo. Júper Baket Yunquera, 87-44, CB Miguel Esteban. Criptana Basketball, 61-62, Salesianos Guadalajara.
Juper Yunquera-CB Miguel Esteban
The Yunquerans were far superior to the Toledo team, which they dominated at all times, winning in the four quarters, 19-4, 24-11, 22-15 and 22-14, to reach the end of the contest with a resounding 87- 44.
In the scoring table, captain Ricardo Lorenzo was the top scorer with 17 points.
CB Criptana-Salesians
Certainly an even match that the collegiate team carried out, in which the locals won 49-43 at halftime. Afterwards, Salesianos turned the match around with a 10-17 run in the third, to conclude the match with the final score of 61-62.
In short, victory and points for Guadalajara, maintaining third place in the table, tied with Juper and Bazu.
Bazu Azudense-CEI Toledo
The Azudenses were superior to their rival from Toledo, whom they ended up defeating 87-51, after a game in which they were always ahead on the scoreboard and achieving favorable differences in the four quarters, 24-15, 23-14. 23-15 and 17-7.
With this result, those from Bazu are placed second, tied on points with Juper and Salesianos, waiting for events.
