• Players from 13 to 18 years old are invited to participate in a qualifying event.

Zinacantepec, State of Mexico, January 15, 2022. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the General Directorate of Physical Culture and Sports, in coordination with the Badminton Association of the State of Mexico, will carry out the State Selective to form the Mexican delegation that will participate in the process towards the National Games Conade 2022.
The event will take place on January 22 and 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Club Toluca, located in Pino Suárez, corner of Paseo Tollocan, s/n, Col. Universidad, CP. 50130, in the capital of the State of Mexico.
The categories convened for this state event are: Sub 15, Sub 17 and Sub 19, in the men’s and women’s branches, who will face each other in the individual modality and the competition system will be based on the number of registered.
The players will seek to occupy the first places in each category and branch, with the aim of being part of the Mexican delegation that will attend the national selection, the last filter to reach the highest national sports fair.
For this event, the participation of more than 60 players is expected, from Club Toluca, Club Berimbau, Badminton Center, Club Cuicacalli, Metepec and the Training Centers that operate in the Ciudad Deportiva Edoméx and in the Deportivo Agustín Millán Viveros, and that They are part of the initiative to promote this discipline among children and young people.
As part of the sanitary measures, the facilities where the competition will take place will be constantly sanitized; in addition to the fact that entry will be limited and coaches and athletes who present the COVID-19 antigen test, showing the negative certificate, will have access.
