Trieste clears Cremona – Sport

The Allianz Trieste conquers the recovery of the 13th day of A1 by clearing the parquet of Vanoli Cremona. The giuliani – without Banks, Fernandez and coach Ciani – immediately rely on the low post of Grazulis (8 points and 9 rebounds) and the shot of the former Mian (15 points) to try to stem a Harris (22 points and 4 assists) unleashed between playmaking and baskets from the dribble.

Trieste tries to give the first break in the race, taking advantage of a series of free throws to target and a bomb blast from the opening quarter by Cavaliero (20-25). Cremona responds immediately with a 9-0 counterbreak by Harris-Pecchia (12 points and 6 rebounds). Subsequently, the accelerations from the dribble of the MVP of the 15th day and some spells of Spanish equalize Delia’s raids (13 points and 6 rebounds) from the post and aims her from beyond the arc of Davis (23 points) and Mian, sealing a extremely balanced first half (42-42).

Even in the second half the protagonists and the path in the match between the two teams do not change: for the hosts it is Harris and Pecchia who feast in one on one while for the Allianz it is always the two-way game between Davis and Delia, in addition to some long distance shots scored by Grazulis and Campogrande, to be the masters (53-50). Once again, however, it is Trieste that tries to break the balance with a break of 2-12 dragged by the impact of Konate under the two boards and by a cynical Mian. The usual Davis, author of the 59-68 support on the siren of the third quarter, takes the lead in the red and white.

Vanoli, however, did not give up and the aggressive plays of Pecchia and Poeta allowed Harris to score the baskets of the comeback and overtaking at 73-71. After a fairly chaotic central phase of the last period, Davis with a rebounding basket in attack and Mian with a triple assisted by Delia bring Allianz back to +3 with 60 ”from the end. Subsequently, Harris loses a bloody ball and again Davis scores the bomb that seals the game for good. It ends 75-80.
