The Judo Club Alcoi returned from Tortosa with two medals from the first Spanish Cup of the season. After a period of inactivity due to the pandemic, she traveled to Catalonia with three judokas from the children’s team: Claudia Carrasco, Bernat Seguí and Mauro Paredes.
The results were more than satisfactory, Bernat Seguí managing to hang himself with a silver medal in -38 kg, Claudia Carrasco achieved bronze in -57 kg and Mauro Paredes finished in a meritorious seventh place in -66 kg.
A good way to start the season in the children’s category after inactivity, also in a national competition that raises hopes of achieving more good results in future events.
