Lezoux. The podium for judokas. Despite the pandemic, the leaders of the judo section of the Rural Families Association of Lezoux have no shortage of projects and offer multiple activities to the association’s hundred licensees. Efforts that pay off and which will have allowed Océane Dunant (minimum) and Quentin Vernadal (youngest) to continue their rise on the steps on the departmental and regional podiums.
Last performance to date, January 15 in Ceyrat where the two young athletes, who will soon participate in the departmental inters, became champions of Puy-de-Dôme.
Quentin has participated in several label A excellence tournaments, national competitions, including Dijon and Limoges, and has also recently ranked 2 e in Bourges. A student for two years within the Pôle Espoir, the training structure will have enabled him to develop his physical and technical qualities and to highlight a potential that could lead him to a high-level professional career. The youngest is also taking part today in the Super Excellence tournament in Marseille, an international competition.
