UEFA is looking forward to 2022: top year for Openda, Ait El Hadj and Raskin?

The year 2022 has started and it is therefore time to look forward to the performance and growth of a few youngsters. The same is true for UEFA, which has drawn up a list of players to look forward to in 2022. We also get to see some famous names in it.

With Anouar Ait El Hadj, Loïs Openda and Nicolas Raskin, there are three compatriots in the the list. For example, UEFA believes that 2022 could well be the year for RSC Anderlecht-midfielder Ait El Hadj. “He can play anywhere in midfield and is strong with the ball at his feet,” it sounds.

In addition, it is believed that Openda, which is Club Brugge is rented out to Vitesse, can sometimes break through at the top. “He has scored a lot for Belgium’s youth teams and his speed helped him become top scorer at Vitesse last season. He can confirm again this season,” said UEFA.

UEFA also expects a lot from Raskin, who is now thriving at Standard. ‘In the youth he played for Standard, KAA Gent and Anderlecht, but now he is back at the club from his hometown. Bee Standard he has become a regular basic pawn in the midfielder’, it reads.

UEFA expects a great 2022 for our three compatriots, but they are not the only ones. Kacper Kozlowski (Union) and Odilon Kossounou (ex-Club Brugge) are also still in the list, along with Gavi (Barcelona), Noni Madueke (PSV) and Karim Adeyemi (RB Salzburg).
