Using Malay, Loh Kean Yew was amazed when he saw Hendra Setiawan’s hard smash : Okezone Sports

At one point, Loh Kean Yew saw how Hendra was training. When Hendra did a smash, Loh Kean Yew spontaneously expressed his admiration with the Malay language.

The incident was published by someone with the account @Genoveva Melina on Tiktok social media on Tuesday (18/1/2022). It was seen that Hendra was practicing by throwing smashes into the opposite court several times.

It is not known where, when, and with whom the other training partner will be in the field. But what is certain is that the process was perpetuated by Loh Kean Yew.

Previously, Hendra and his partner Mohammad Ahsan and Loh had just participated in the first event in the 2022 season, the 2022 India Open. The event was held on 11-17 January 2022 in New Delhi.

Coincidentally, these two representatives both won silver in the Super 500 event. They are also often found familiar with each other and immortalized on social media.

Meanwhile, Hendra/Ahsan ended up as runners-up after losing in the final against representatives from India, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty. They lost in two straight games 16-21 and 24-26.

As for Loh, in the top party, the host representative also had to give up Lakshya Sen. The 2021 world championship winner had to give up with a score of 20-22, 21-19, and 13-21.

Together they won silver, they also took a photo together in a hotel room which was immortalized by Hendra’s personal Instagram account. But their closeness is also found on the field by training together.

Back to the Tiktok video, including Hendra smashing two to three times in a row and all of them crossing the net. Loh also praised Hendra behind the camera he was holding.

“It’s crazy, the smash is still strong,” Loh responded with a light laugh and pointed the camera at Hendra.

Loh Kean Yew and Hendra and Ahsan can be said to be quite familiar. After the India Open 2022, they still had time to take pictures together with the silver medal they won at the event.
