Vern-sur-Seiche. On the road to the Olympic and Paralympic Games

As part of Olympic and Paralympic Week, activities will be organized in the three elementary schools of Vern-sur-Seiche (Ille-et-Vilaine), city labeled “Terre de jeux”, and on Wednesdays, during the leisure reception of the Center des Marais. The objective of this week is to put more physical and sporting activities in the daily lives of children and to mobilize the educational community around civic and sporting values. , says Nathalie Perrin, organization referent for the City.

Sporting challenges

Students in each class will be divided into three teams representing a different country. Dressed in the colors of the country they represent, challenges will be offered to them in different sports such as basketball, table tennis, handball or boccia. The organizers also intend to take up the challenge launched to French schools by the hero of children and adolescents Thomas Pesquet. Sponsor of Olympic and Paralympic Week, he launched the #Mission30Minutes, which offers children the opportunity to perform at least thirty minutes of physical activity a day.
