YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Businessman from Indonesia, Bachtiar Karim, gave money worth 200,000 Singapore dollars or around Rp. 2.1 billion to the Lion Country’s badminton player, Loh Kean Yew.

Quoted from Mothership, Friday (14/1/2022) Bachtiar Karim gave money of value through his family’s foundation.

Bachtiar Karim and his family are said to have given the money because they were inspired by Loh Kean Yew’s perseverance and humility after successfully winning the BWF World Championship.
