Will Lewandowski pack the 365? – Starting signal for the last Müller record! – Bundesliga

Bundesliga“>Robert Lewandowski (33) still has this big goal at Bayern!

After the Pole had already surpassed the incredible 40 goals in one season by Gerd Müller († 75) in 2020/21, the bomber record from 1972 also fell at the end of 2021: Lewandowski scored one goal more than the 42 in the last calendar year.

Now the Lewy hunt for the 365 begins! With this mark, Gerd Müller holds the record for the most successful goalscorer in the history of the Bundesliga. Lewandowski is currently the second best with 300 goals.

From Sunday Lewy will attack the 365 – in Berlin against Hertha (5.30 p.m. / DAZN)!

At the Fifa world footballer election on Monday, Lewy said about Müller: “Without him none of this would have been possible.” Now the unbelievable 365 are driving him!

The calculation: After this second half of the season, Lewandowski would only need two more seasons before the record would be broken. For this he would have to extend his contract (currently until 2023).

If he let the contract expire, things would get tight: The Pole would need a super second half of the season with 20 goals and a mega season 2022/23 with 45 goals.

By the way: Lewy already secured a bomber record against the Berliners in the first half of the season: he scored three times in the 5-0 win and in the 16th competitive game in a row. Gerd Müller managed 15 games in a row in 1969/70.
