Sparkasse Gießen supports youth sport in 25 clubs in the city and country with 20,000 euros.

Giessen district (red). The promotion of youth sports has been an essential part of the commitment of the Sparkasse Giessen for many years. A number of clubs have applied. 25 clubs each received 800 euros when the donations were distributed, a total of 20,000 euros.

“The youth work in the sports clubs is an important pillar in our society,” emphasized Peter Wolf, Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Gießen, in a press release.

Board colleague Ilona Roth added: “Children and young people are the future of our society.” The official donation handover, as was the custom in previous years, had to be dispensed with due to the special situation.
