Julian Halwachs (46′) equalized for Liefering after a free-kick goal from Saracevic (24′) shortly after the restart. The goal scorer weakened his team a little later with yellow-red (55th). It should be the sticking point of this game, which was decided less than ten minutes later. Again Saracevic (56th), Michael Cheukoua (58th) and Tabakovic (63rd) scored for the guests. In the finish, Tabakovic even scored his 21st goal of the season (79th). The interim 2: 4 by a penalty from Roko Simic (72nd) was only of a cosmetic nature.
FAC, whose game against Kapfenberg SV had been postponed, was not in action. Due to a large number of CoV cases, the Viennese no longer had the minimum number of 14 operational field players and two operational goalkeepers.
Lustenau’s leading gate
Muhammed-Cham Saracevic gave the guests from Lustenau a 1-0 lead with a remarkable free kick (24th).
Last minute goal costs BW Linz victory
Meanwhile, Blau Weiß Linz lost a last-minute goal to victory in St. Pölten. Aleksandar Kostic put the guests ahead at SKN in the 36th minute before Kresimir Kovacevic made it 1-1 in added time (95′). Blau Weiß is already 13 points behind leaders Austria Lustenau.
The Upper Austrians had to act outnumbered from the 64th minute and yellow-red for Fabio Strauss. Experienced Christoph Schößwendter made his debut for Linz, who lost a win in the finish for the second time in a row after the 1-1 draw against Vorwarts Steyr. It was BW’s fifth draw in a row.
The amateur teams from Rapid and Austria celebrated victories. Thanks to the winning goal from “Joker” Rene Kriwak (78th) the Green-Whites beat Horn 3:2 (2:1) at home, the “Veilchen” retained the GAK 3:1 (0:0) the upper hand. The decision was brought about by Bright Edomwonyi (79th) and Silvio Apollonio (93rd).
