Albacete hosted the II Phase of the Regional School Sports Judo Championship

During the day of last Saturday, February 12, the II Phase of the Castilla-La Mancha School-Age Sports Judo Championship was held at the Albacete Fair Pavilion, which has been organized by the Castilla Judo Federation -La Mancha and the CD Judo Club Albacete Escolapios-Formas of our capital, with the collaboration of the CLM Community Board, the Albacete Provincial Council and the Albacete City Council.

A day in which it was possible to enjoy one of the most spectacular sporting events that have been held annually in our city and in which more than 100 judokas from the entire region gathered in the Children’s and Cadet Categories, both female and male. .

An appointment full of emotion, intensity and quality. The plasticity that this sport offers year after year with the performances of the judokas from Castilla-La Mancha in general and from Albacete in particular is to be thanked for the effort and hours of training that it takes to achieve the necessary level to compete, they point out in a note press release from the CLM Judo Federation.

The fight to score points in this Phase II and qualify for the Spanish Championship is the main objective, which some have already achieved mathematically as it was their second victory out of three possible ones and which they will try to seal with a third in the Final Phase.

Such is the case of Albacete judokas Sofía González, Lucía López, Rodrigo Martínez and Pablo García from Judo Club Albacete Escolapios – Formas.

The judokas of the clubs that represented the province of Albacete in this phase, obtained the following results: 6 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze, these were distributed as follows:
