Apple TV+ has keen interest in NFL streaming rights, according to a new report.
The rights package for “NFL Sunday” is currently hotly contested. Alongside Amazon, Disney is one of those interested in live images of the US Football League.
Apple is probably turning the price screw even more, reports that Sports Business Journal now. Cupertino has long been said to want to win customers for streaming with sports events.
Expensive streaming rights
According to insiders, the NFL rights will cost more than $2 billion. Apple is said to have been trying to get live NFL content for some time. So far, nothing has been officially announced.

How the negotiations will continue is currently still open. It remains to be seen who will secure the rights and how much money will be paid for them.
Should Apple strike a deal with the NFL, it would be Apple TV+’s first major live sports trump card. Months ago, it was said that Apple was also planning to broadcast Major League Baseball games live on Apple TV+.
