Field archery competition this morning, Sunday 27 February, starting at 9, in Bosco Nordio in Sant’Anna, organized by the Arcieri del Mare sports association. And they will be about 150 archers of all ages who will arrive in Chioggia from all over Italy to participate in the sporting event, which is held under the aegis of Fidasc affiliated with Coni, competing on the distance of 42 arrows.
After the heavy restrictions due to the pandemic, we are therefore back to normal with one competition called “Hunting and Shooting” and if there will be no setbacks in Bosco Nordio five races will be heldas scheduled.
Organizers of the Sant’Anna event, as we said, are the Archers of the Seaaffiliated to the two Italian sports federations, namely Fidasc and Fiarc and count on about fifty members, who compete for more than twenty years, promoting an ancient sport such as archery, which stimulates the heart and brain in the competitive but also recreational spirit, which takes place in competition fields surrounded by nature.
For those wishing to try their hand at this sport, the Archers of the Sea they organize shooting courses in the school and training fields of Via Pegorina, near the Sant’Anna sports field.
