This Sunday, February 27th, the tranquil setting of Bosco Nordio in Sant’Anna will come alive with the sounds of bows and the thrill of competition.The Arcieri del Mare sports association is hosting a field archery tournament, welcoming approximately 150 archers from across Italy.
The event, sanctioned by Fidasc, a Coni-affiliated association, marks a welcome return to normalcy after pandemic-related disruptions. Archers will test their skills in the “Hunting and Shooting” competition, aiming for precision over a distance of 42 arrows.
With no unforeseen obstacles, organizers anticipate a full schedule of five races throughout the day.
The Arcieri del Mare, a vibrant club with around fifty members, has been promoting the timeless sport of archery for over two decades. Affiliated with both Fidasc and Fiarc, the association fosters a spirit of camaraderie and competition, recognizing archery’s unique ability to engage both mind and body.
