Arnaus and Larrazbal, in the Ras al Khaimah Classic fight

Adri Arnaus and Pablo Larrazbal are within six shots of Ryan Fox at the Ras al Khaimah Classic, of the DP World Tour, in the absence of the last day. The two Spaniards share second place with Adrian Meronk and Scott Jamieson, the four with 203 strokes, 13 under par.

Arnaus signed a great card with 66 hits. I started in the best possible way: two birdies and an eagle in the first three holes. Five more birdies followed, but he missed three shots over par on holes 5, 6 and 8. For his part, Larrazbal scored a tour of 68 strokes with seven birdies and three bogeys.

Fox played very solid off the tee. The power of his swing was reflected in the fact that he exceeded 300 meters in seven outings. He finished with nine birdies and two bogeys for a 65-shot card that gives him a 197 overall, 19 under par.

“I felt like I had really good ball control, just hit a couple of bad shots. I got myself exactly where I want to be: it’s all up to me tomorrow. Someone will have to go out and end up with a really low result tomorrow or I will have to play very badly. I hope I can continue to play like I have in the last few days and get out of reach of my rivals,” Fox said.

For their part, Jorge Campillo and Adrin Otaegui are tied for 59th place with 211 hits, 14 for the New Zealander.
