The Athlos Ourense badminton club continues to cover stages and confirms the growth of a quarry that has been working for this sport for many years.
The team from Ourense began its second season in the First National last week, one of the leading categories of the leagues under the umbrella of the Spanish Federation. After a promising debut last year with an outstanding fourth position, especially taking into account the enormous restrictions when competing due to the pandemic, the players and coaching staff traveled to Huelva to play the first match.
Three games to get into the dynamics of a demanding league, which once again is played in a concentration format. Ourensanos returned from Andalusian lands with a victory and two defeats. The first win of the season was against Colombino, by a clear 6-1, while in the other two matches they lost to Estella and Granollers, by 2-5 and a tighter 3-4.
