ATP: Félix Auger-Aliassime beats Andy Murray in Rotterdam

Quebecer Félix Auger-Aliassime defeated Andy Murray in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in the second round of the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, on Thursday.

Auger-Aliassime dominated the first round with ten winning shots, against only one for the veteran.

The second set was more complicated, as the two players exchanged breaks of service, but Auger-Aliassime knew how to make the difference to win.

The Canadian converted four of his eight chances to break, while winning an impressive total of 72% of the points contested on his first serve.

Auger-Aliassime prevailed in 97 minutes against the 34-year-old Scotsman, ending the game with a forehand volley.
